Fortunately this tavern was able to resist the wind of change at any cost, which blew violently even in our beautiful Roero hills I don't think it was easy for the fantastic owners not to give in to the transformation into an anonymous pizzeria, selling their souls to the devil, as they say. Years of experience, knowledge, culture, and above all flavors lost to follow fashions. A place that has remained intact and today represents the soul of the truest Roero, the place is not distorted, clean, welcoming, the honest cuisine that still follows the seasons, the dishes with true flavors that take us back to the distinct tastes of grandmothers and mothers. Veal with tuna sauce, tongue in a dream sauce, cotechino, vegetable pies, first courses that fill us with emotions, second courses that bring the delicious raw materials of this incredible territory to the table, rigorously homemade desserts, red wine produced in the vineyards of property and Arneis of his friend Gonnella. Authentic hospitality of our great peasant tradition. Really correct and honest prices. Not a huge choice of dishes, which confirms the authenticity of the tavern cuisine, with the possibility of tasting tench, eel, asparagus or other delicacies from this generous land to order. A highly recommended place, a safe place to taste true Roero cuisine in simplicity.
Clean, nice place, a nice spacious and bright room... Even if the place had all the tables occupied there wasn't a crowd of overlapping tables. The choice of fewer tables and customers gave the possibility of being able to talk to your partner without having to shout to drown out the chatter as happens in many places. Simple, pleasant and very good menu, very good raw materials The tajarin with meat sauce are excellent, and the pork fillet stuffed with apples is also an excellent combination, soft and tasty... To review the Tuma salad, I would avoid the diced cooked ham and use the pear, a better combination. Mha! Tastes are tastes and it's my opinion. Very kind staff, good at hand, nice and friendly owners. Excellent price/quality menu... My compliments.

Va tutto bene. per quanto riguarda il cibo, quello che mi piace è che non c'è spesso menu, ma si sceglie tra le cose preparate nel giorno. questo lo rende tutto molto fresco, di qualità, e secondo me cucinato con cura e arte. il posto è semplice, e stai bene. a pranzo a volte sei solo in pochi, e sono quei posti dove si può parlare senza gridare. il conto alla fine del pasto sembra quasi un regalo, per così tanto tempo ha mangiato bene (e tanto). e poi si può respirare un clima di casa, fiducia e semplicità. che tutto in tutto è quello che a volte cerchi ancora più del cibo. Davvero un posto a cinque stelle.
