We had one diner in the ancient monastery cellars and one outside on the terrace with candle lanterns that enjoys spectacular views over the Langhe hills. In contrast to the hotel staff the Restaurant staff is friendly attentive and professional. Modern traditional Italian cuisine. Excellent tastes , flavours and combinations. The wine list extensive and the help of the sommelier was most helpful. Having diner and enjoying the sunset on the terrace is quite an experience. This diner experience is close to perfection

We where suppose to meet up and have club Sandwiches. Unfortunately the bar was closed today so we had to go to the restaurant instead. They could not serve a club Sandwich because that was made by the barman and not the cook. Apparently the cook could not make a club Sandwich. Fare enough. Only problem is that the menu was so booring that I had to read it twice to see if I had missed something. I hadn't. I ended up with the ravioli. The ravioli was fine but the portion was so ridiculous small that it was offensive. So much smaller than the other portions my friends had, that ordered other dishes. Therefore I had to order a second while my friends ordered desserts. To our huge surprise the dessert arrived before I got my second. No restaurant should never do this, but should have brought them out at the same time. Instead my friends desserts where long gone before I got my chicken wings. The Chicken wings looked good, but was blend at the best and the potato was seriously undercoocked. The only thing that lived up to what I would have expected from a place like this was the mustard mayonese. The waiters were nice though. Plus for the garden, the views and that the dogs where immediately brought water bowls. The old monestary look lovely as well, but the gym and the new outside bar really didn't match the old beautiful buildings. Oh and it was off course rather overpriced as well. 16 euro for the tiny portion of ravioli and 5 euro for a bottle of water. Also please remove the glass chard that was in between the tiles. This is supposed to be a classy place, not a tacky beach restaurant.

Delicious food, excellent wine and great staff. This is a must-go-to restaurant! Location is perfect. Visits this restaurant if you are a foodie and want a perfect evening.

Do at least once in life (for us we have to make a year here all perfect. from the position: panoramic, historical, of great charm, everything will be studied to pamper the customer. friendly and always smiling staff, superb men in their modern revisitation of the great classics of Piedmont cuisine, really high wines (impareggiabile a barbaric of years of life than to say more?

After a couple of years we can only confirm the positive judgment. nice location, friendly and competent staff and, above all, delicious dishes. excellent presentation, binding, quality. a test of flavors and sensations. account suitable for quality. When are you coming back?
