Bidra med feedbackWe first used this traditional Madeiran restaurant in 1999 and enjoyed it immensely. Been back many times since and had equally good experiences. Returned this year and was disappointed felt they'd lost their way a little and didn't have the enthusiasm and service ethos...that we had previously experienced. We'll visit again next year we're hoping they've got their mojo back.
Visited with my girlfriend about 20.30 on a Friday night after we'd checked into our hotel. We quickly scanned TA to see what was available and this place came up... Hosts spoke English, which was very helpful. Food was great: I had a Small Steak...and she had Carbonara. Both very tasty, and steak was cooked in a lovely sauce. Both had some home made cake afterwards, also great. Having both guessed the bill, it came under what we were expecting by about €8! Definitely going back later in our holiday.
