Bidra med feedbackI let my grandson choose his favorite restaurant and he chose Lima Thai. There were six in our family, and we've ever ordered something else. We ordered 2 appetizers, both were very delicious. You could say that the kitchen was very busy because we had to wait long until our meals are served. Problem: 2 of us were served and a spoon later 2 received our meals and until the last 2 meals were served, the first two were finished with their meals.
Food is excellent, make sure to make a reservation as it is very busy. Only the question I had was it really just a waiter who can speak English, so it was somehow difficult to order wine, food, etc. I don't know how to speak Spanish. Very nice place for dinner in a group or with an important other. Beautiful ambience at the outdoor tables.
We don't have to fly away to enjoy a delicious Thai food in Lima. Lima Thai has become one of our favorite places to relax and delicious food. Totally recomending!
The Thom ka gay was lacking in complexity and had pieces of what seemed like chicken waste in it rather than proper chicken bits. The shrimp rice rolls were bland and the shrimp seemed old and overcooked which is sacrilege in our country. We cancelled the rest of the order as the starters were so poorly made and took over an hour for them to arrive. Very disappointing experience in a city with a thriving seafood culture and so few Thai restaurants one would have expected them to try to get it right.
This restaurant offers Thai food that was a bit too spicy for my taste. After they had asked to change the court, they could not succeed. The food was very different in taste and the servers did their best to help us. So if you have the tolerance for spicy food, then this restaurant is a good choice, but it wasn't that for me.
