Bidra med feedbackIt is a bit expensive, but it is worth it, because the place and the witness are wonderful and it is also something to expect in a favorable area of the city itself, but it is good to know so you can be prepared. cañamo pizza is to the for, and there are many other vegan beautiful dishes. drinks are a bit too expensive, and there are not too many sweet choices.
Very rich and gourmet. nice atmosphere, varied vegan menu and great cocktails
This opinion is based on three different experiences. I must first say that the hotel is grateful to offer vegan food in your letter. This is not bad but it does not stand out as to say, ohhh that rich is!! if I must rescue a delicious dessert of 3 vegan milks that was perfect. But the bad is not that, but the attention of the waiters, of course not of all. I was well cared for by some, but on two different occasions I received very confident attention from some (2 of them) and that bothers a lot. they should receive training in the office of attending to customers!
Even if it is not a fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant, as the description indicates, they have a separate menu which is 100% plant based. I have tried the Vital ceviche, the Piquillo peppers, the Cauliflower Rice Rissotto and all the vegan desserts; all of them are really delicious. Besides, the place, the atmosphere and the attention are all excellent. I would give them 5 stars even if not vegetarian if I could.
Finally came to Bidasoa restaurant to try some dishes of their vegan menu options. I’m vegan for almost 12 years now so every place with vegan options is really welcomed. The place is recently renovated, part of the Boutique Hotel Bidasoa in Vitacura. Location is great, actually awesome, you can notice how everything has been carefully planned to the very details, making you feel very comfortable and with this feeling of being in home out of home. I had two vegan dishes : the Entrance Cebiche de Cochayuyo (a local Chilean seaweed) that was increíble tasty, very well prepared with just the right amount of condiments and lemon juice to make it a very soft and enjoyable dish. For the main dish I had the Pizza de Cañamo Proteica, a totally different approach to a classic dish, with a crust that is really unique and very well prepared. Didn’t had time to try desserts so I will definitely will come back. The whole experience was great and I totally recommend this place if your visiting Santiago and want to try some great vegan dishes in an awesome location. Service and all the people here were also great, very polite and at the same time relaxed. This is the kind of place and boutique hotel I actually look for when I travel, so discovering it in Santiago nearby was quite a catch. 100%, no 1000% recommend it !
