Wilbur's Lounge - Santee

Great place, but be careful when you are affected by social distance. Place was packed wall on wall.

A server named Ann made us feel at home even though we just passing through.

Grilled shrimps are very good. The staff is always pleasant and has mostly live music on weekends.

I love this bar. Santee is not very big, but it is a nice little spot of 95 to grab some gas and eat a bite. When I first went to Wilbur, it was great. The bartender Kim was so nice to my wife and I didn't want to go. You have a great meal, a great service and a little surprise when you go in. There is a backroom that is a private wine club with a very large part of the wines offered for sale, even if you are not a member. Most of the time you can go in and stumble on a wine tasting event. They'll take care of you. You have live music at night, and it's not a stripe.
