Dom Mani Restaurante - Santarém

It’s my favourite pizza. All the ingredients seems to be carefully chosen. My only issue is that they just have one option of wine, the Divisa, Bordô, from RS Brazil, it’s definitely not bad but because I’m a frequently client I would like to have...other options.

I was staying at the Tapajos Center Hotel on the river. Dom Mani i part of the Brazilian Restaurant Association (each restaurant has a specialty plate each year. Who you order the dish you receive a beautiful ceramic plate as a keepsake. When i travel...through Brazil i try to stop at restaurants that are members. The food was outstanding to say the least. I was told the owner is from northern Italy. The specialty plate was so good that on the return through Santorem I stopped for another meal and had fettuccine alfredo. EXCELLENT!!!! Dont pass on their deserts either. Not heavy but tasty fruits with ice cream. If you are in Santorem do not miss Dom Mani, and, by the way it is only a 3 block walk from the hotel.

People claim it's the best pizzeria in Santarém, but when I went there, there was a lack of some dishes. They are not open for adjusting their dishes for the customer's needs, for example, when they are gluten or lactosis intolerants. They are not even...open for adapting salads in their menu for those not wishing to have carbohidrats. It's a great disappointment with such a famous and well structured restaurant.
