Everytime I go back to Madeira, it's a must to Visit Estrela do Norte .... Great food, friendly staff

Tuna steak was so perfect. Lovely, and a very good staff. Espresso wasn't the best, but good enough. Prices are reasonable.

If you like the real tuna fish, they know how to prepare it, in special madeira's recipe. Really delicious. Good service. Soup was delicious too. Price was perfect

I've been eating here the entire weekend and absolutely loved it. Friday night I ate limpets, beef with typical fried corn and sauted vegetables, and a maracuja tart. Absolutely recommend it. The beef was super tender, the maracuja tart in the right sweet point. And today I ate a beautiful tomato soup with a poached egg followed by a super tasty crunchy homemade pizza.

Lovely place to eat, all the food we ordered tasted really nice and huge portions at a very reasonable price. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were very clean. Free parking available outside.
