The menu states that he kitchen closes at midnight each night. We arrived at 22:45, waited ten minutes for somebody to approach the table to take an order (which didn't happen- we had to go to the bar), only to be told they wouldn't cook anything as there was only one member of staff. Not great.

Driving down from Pico do Ruivo and in need of sustenance we stopped in at this roadside bar. Very friendly guy behind the bar (good English spoken) and two perfect pregos (steak sandwiches) and chips served in quick time to a quiet table outside. Couldn't be better!

The best place in Santana for a drink...Miss u guys

Bocatas increíbles, Poncha súper buena y precios locales. Lo único malo es que esta un poco a desmano pero dueños súper amables

This was a pleasant surprise as we were coming down from Pico Ruivo, starving from the nice walk up there. We got the burger, that was nicely served, freshly made meat and great flavor. We also got the meat sandwich in bolo do caco , which was very good and also fresh. Friendly staff, very good wireless connection!
