Guachinche El Pinito - Santa Úrsula

We came on restaurante el pinto by accident as we pulled off the road to let a car past and how lucky we did. Our host was so friendly bringing us Canarian treats to sample. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and portions huge. The chef was lovely and talented. The local wine was quaffable and it was my birthday. Could not have had better venue. Muchísimas gracias para una comida especial.

We went here on recommendation and it fell short of the big build-up. Initially denied the downstairs seating, we were ushered upstairs to a completely empty room. When we said that we would leave, we were then offered seating down below. As the only diners there anyway, it hardly made a difference to them. It was cold and breezy inside, so the waiter oddly kept his anorak on all throughout our visit. Decent croquetas and chicken but very overdone and tough bistec. Too cold to stay for desserts. Limited parking over the road.

Today, I went with my family. We were driving home at 3:40pm while we were starving. We found Guachinche El Pinito and it was amazing. The people were the most friendly staff that I've ever seen! The food was really good and we tried homemade desserts from Venezuela. If you want to enjoy a restaurant as if you were at home, this is the place! We were really really happy! PS. The toilets were cleaned and everything was working (hard to find in Spain)! Best wishes to them!

Amazing felip treatment, very good food at reasonable price, very friendly and helpful people. I recommend it 100%, it would definitely come back!
