Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I had lunch here yesterday with two family members. As my husband is from Tenerife, we have eaten at many guachinche restaurants. This was our first visit here and will be our last!! We arrived relatively early for lunch and were the first customers. Despite this, service was slow. We ordered two half portion starters (queso frito croquetas), both of which were edible enough but on the small side. I ordered carne de cabra for my main course, and again opted for a half portion as serving sizes in guachinches are normally very generous. I asked for papas rather than chips to go with this. When my dish arrived, it was on a plate the size of a saucer and consisted mostly of bones, fat and gristle!! The potatoes (of which there were about 6) were very dry and there was hardly any gravy or juices with the meat. Probably the worst carne de cabra I have ever had! Service continued to be slow and erratic. I noticed that customers at the table next to us had to send their pork fillet back to the kitchen TWICE to be properly cooked!! We also felt the bill to be high for what we ate. The fact that the menu shows a price for a meat dish, but you are then charged extra for potatoes or chips is very deceptive. Carne de cabra was 7 euros on the board. I asked for a half portion and was charged 4.50 euros for that, plus a further 3.50 for the papas. Eight euros in total for a dish that was barely edible! Suffice to say, we will not be back!! There are so many good, quality and economical places nearby, I cannot understand why anyone would choose to eat here!
Ah! Y los champiñones y el mejillón relleno
The truth is that we do not understand the bad reviews that my mother and I were eating on a half-day we did not know whether to go or not because of the bad reviews, but we were surprised when we got to eat, they have typical Canarian dishes the food in general was very good and everything has an economic price that is not for it of low quality, we were very happy with the service were very attentive and professional and the food as I said spectacular also. (bad criticisms will be believed to be buoy or are in masterchef or to know why nothing to see)
Spectacular place. good wine and especially good food. I recommend the black ****
The fried cheese let us down. We paid €5.50 for playing bowls. There was no goat meat, no black pig. wine is good even if soda is hot. The waitress is very kind.
