I had coconut shrimp and she had shrimp cocktail, there was a bit of a wait for the food but it is worth it. everthing is fresh the salad is nice and crispy and the shrimp was devine,i cant wait til we go back. they have a library of used books and dvds, take one leave one. what a great idea . Thank you very much
We drove by this place without giving it a thought. Later after checking into our accommodations down the road, our host recommended us to try JC's scallops and shrimp. Wow! The garlic scallops were excellent and their margaritas should come with a warning. (Good thing).
We came ashore from our sailboats looking for a store. Instead we found JC's and spent a heavenly afternoon with cold beer and the best fish tacos in the world. They were served with a huge fresh platter of toppings and sides that was a spectacular meal in itself. We hear that Thursday nights are super fun, but sadly we indulged far too much at Thursday lunch. Next time!!
Great spot and atmosphere. Killer fried chicken and Oysters Rockefeller. Good people and happy to accommodate.
We have been coming to the Mulege beaches for over ten years now. J C’s on Playa Burro is our favorite place to eat and just hang out with friends. Their Oysters Rockefeller (need to order in advance! are The BEST, as are their Margaritas. It is open air eating, which has become especially important with Covid, and the workers not only wear masks, they keep them over their noses. Licho nights (Thursday are a special treat (when there is not a Covid Red Alert . Licho, the ex-mayor of Mulege, comes and plays guitar and sings traditional Mexican music that gets us all dancing. Definitely 5 star!
