San Sai Japanese Grill - Santa Monica

We ordered poke bowl and shrimp steak plate. The food was very generous in portions and super delicious. Despite of the fast food setup, their food was superior compared to the neighborhood Japanese restaurants.

Great Japanese fast food restaurant with lower prices than McDonald's and healthier food than McDonald's.

As the name suggests, it 's a 'self served ' restaurant, food was great tho. Japanese is my least favorite Asian food. However, I really enjoyed the food. I may be wrong, but I didn 't observe any Japanese person in the kitchen or receiving orders, though. I 'm just one of these people who like to see the nationality of the restaurant that I visit.

Food is delicious! Always fresh however some days my chicken is overcooked. Miso soup is great! The spicy chicken bowl, potstickers, tempura shrimp and veggies are a must try.

Thank you for having an open and clean bathroom to paying customers when CVS and Starbucks are too cheap to keep theirs open.
