Ruben's Tacos Santa Monica

Although a little small the tacos were extremely tasteful and cheap at $2 for meat and fish or $3 for garnel. would eat there again and look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

I got the al pastor and the asada tacos. The asada was below average. The al pastor was slightly better, but not good enough to be noteworthy nor memorable.Besides the mediocre food, the biggest problem with this place was the lousy service. I waited 40 minutes for my food to be cooked and served, despite the line being just 5 people at 8:30pm on a weekday. For a fast casual taco truck, that's an unacceptable wait time. If the food was incredible, then maybe I would wait. But not 40 minutes and definitely not for their tacos.The prices are reasonable at $1.50 per taco. But I'd suggest going elsewhere if you want a better overall experience.

The Shromp Tacos are delicious with this great sauce that they put on the tacos like a smoky Chipotle flavor. The horchata tastes homemade with a very rich authentic flavor.

Super reasonable prices and tasty tacos. Well worth checking out if you're looking for something quick and tasty.
