Fritto Misto - Santa Monica

The host was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Everything sounded very appetizing. Ended getting the shrimp pasta which was incredible. You can taste the high quality nature of their pasta. Excellent list of beers to choose from, some being local brews. The ambiance was nice and the pricing very fair. Glad i stopped by and will definitely come back to try the lobster ravioli next!

Incredibly delicious pasta. Before they bring hot bread. With a little crust. Maybe. I was hungry, but the last time I had such a delicious food in France. Visitors coming for the first time will have a pleasant surprise. It's very cool! Try Ingwerbier here. Sharp, but very cool.

Fritto Misto was recommended by a friend and it looked good online, but I was disappointed with the overall experience. Your free bread was dry and hard. I recommend her Fried Pillow's appetizer. Most important part: Pasta. The noodles have good texture, but the sauces were all watered with underwatering taste. Only plus size is that the part is large enough to feed two per Entrée! At the end of the day, this Italian restaurant has so much potential with its fast friendly service, but they rely too much on its first-class location to close the gap on their moderate taste. Expect to pay $45-50 per person. I'm sorry.

Actually a very good find! The food was so good! First, we were served VERY fresh bread. It was so soft!!!!!! Then the calamari arrived. It was not heavily breaded so you can still taste the calamari and the dip it comes with was refreshing. The Garlic shrimp was very nice and creamy, you can really taste the flavor of both the garlic and the shrimp, 2 flavors which tends to easily overpower the other. As for the atomic pasta it was comfortably spiced, again focused on the flavor with a decent kick from the spice! Definitely would come here again. Additionally, might bring my mom since we recently found out she's allergic to egg AND wheat which makes the transition in finding delicious food very difficult for her and guess what? Fritto misto allows you to modify your own pasta and they offer egg and wheat free options! Isn't that amazing??

Shrimp ravioli was great! Atomic Pasta had absolutely no taste, only heat. Tiramisu was really good! The Italian old fashion was fine and the hibiki Japanese whisky was good! Wide range of liqueurs/drink options. The customer was fine.
