Bidra med feedbackThis place is a jewel in banawe. I've been here 3-5 times in the last three months and it still hasn't failed me. pockets rice is a stacking dish, next is her huh in pandan and the fried pork satay packed. I have also tried the green pork, tastes good, somehow similar to the local chicken cure?(. Their bark soup, which has brocolli, is very tasteful, much bark and noodles, it tastes hardly like brocolli. her pad thai is also good, better than other budget thai restos I have tried and last but not least her sticky rice with mango, the mango is not too sour and the cocos milk is not too sweet. it would have been better if it were served warm. This is the newly named muang thai, sans the other 4 owners. we were so excited to find out that the menu is still the same as muang thai and that eats exactly the same cooked. that has always been our favorite Thai food, because with the quality of the food served them, the price is very affordable. the server know us and told us that they have followed our lives of singlehood to marry, with 1 2 then 3 children. we were and will always be loyal to muang thai, now chef yog’s!
This restaurant is my go to place when I want to get Thai food and this place has been around for years. They serve tasty and affordable Thai food in reasonable portions. I always get the Sweet Pork Bagoong Fried Rice and my favorite the Chicken in Pandan Leaves. The resto is quite small and I don’t recommend dining in large groups but I believe they do pickups. The staff are nice and I have nothing bad to say about them. Overall this place is just a nice cozy place to get good affordable Thai food on a budget
The food is ok especially the sweet chilli sauce, the serving is right. The ambiance is not that good and the place is too small downstairs, I asked if there is still enough space upstairs but they said it is unavailable. Crew are generous but the service is quite bad. Some of our orders forgot to serve and a little problem to our billing.
This restaurant has been in banawe for as far as I can remember.. But this is the first time I've tried it.. Food were delicious, and came in half and full orders.. Loved the tom yum and the bagoong rice.. The rice alone doesn't need any other dish.. Price point is relatively cheap..
