Taparazzi - Santa Marta

I had high hopes for this place and a friend told me she had one of the best steaks she'd ever had here. So maybe, my expectations were a little too high. The steak I had was cooked right, but not a good cut and also was far less than 250g advertized. My friends also went with the steak and had similar experiences. It was good, but as I mentioned disappointing. The atmosphere of the place is nice and the service was great. They also don't have a huge menu, maybe eight or nine options for the main course, but I like this. I would recommend it to a friend even though it was underwhelming for me and I would probably go again. I would just hope for a better cut of meat.

This was a real good experience, great food in very relaxed surrounds. They offer a great choice of menu including some healthier options, the grilled vegetables were superb. One of our party also had the pulled pork which is also to be recommended.The service was very god and friendly and the barman even managed to muster up the last bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and a bottle of rose.Highly recommended.

Everything was great! Fine beer and food. Open on December 31st! Try the spicy pork or the beef. Also the BBC chapinero or Premium.

This is my worst meal so far in Colombia. I had soggy fish that came with 2 burnt potato slices and 3 roughly cut zucchini slices drenched in olive oil, and a few other overlooked unrecognisable veggies. It did not fit the description which included white wine and herbs. The presentation on the plate was unappetising and amateurish. I ate the veggies, but couldn't finish the fish. I got absolutely no service, and my plate with a lot of fish left was on my table for 15 minutes after I finished, then removed without a word or a smile. Chef and waiter was either drunk or just plain amateurs. When I was going to the bar to pay, the waiter didn't speak a word, it was awkward. I told him how I felt and got no response. This place is a bad joke, you must be extremely drunk to possibly like this.

An excellent restaurant in the heart of the historical center of Santa Marta.We had lasagnas with my friends and truly recommend them, probably one of the best ones we ever had !The wine was also good and I really enjoyed having a glass after a few months traveling without this beverage.Good music,good atmosphere and the french owner is really friendly.A very good address I warmly recommend :)
