Bidra med feedbackWe stayed here in June and it was a great, clean hostel in the center of Santa Marta. The owner who is Polish was incredibly helpful. We stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom and the room was large and had excellent air conditioning. The bathrooms were also incredibly clean. We really appreciate that the owner has also helped us book day trips to Minca and gave us recommendations for restaurants and other things around Santa Marta. We received a small breakfast in the morning that we had not expected, so there was an additional bonus.
The owner is a very open person. His food and natural juices are great. He is always aware of your needs and interest to feel comfortable. He's a family. These eight days remained fantastic. I would like to remind people that the place is no longer a restaurant, but a hostal. I went to Santa Marta alone, but I was like I went there with a group of friends.
Toni, the owner is really friendly, he made us the best paella we had tried in a long time. You have to made reservation that 's the way he works right now. Also he is running a hostel mainly for backpacking people. Reasonable priced. If you wanna try authentic, paella, fideua or another kind of Spanish recipe this is the place!.
I stopped into El Espanolete on a whim while visiting Santa Marta. I´m so happy that I did! The owners were so friendly and wonderful and treated us all like family. The food was delcious, too! I especially loved the albondigas. If you visit Santa Marta, I highly recommend trying it out!
