El Asador Espanol - Santa Marta

El Asador Espanol is a true 'find', the owners are from Barcelona, Spain and also own the la Casa del Farol Boutique Hotel in Santa Marta [hidden link] We went to El Asador on the recommendation of a local resident and could not have been enthusiastic anymore! The atmosphere is great, cozy, quiet, very clean, you sit outside, but under a kind of roof that creates the cozy feeling, combined with rocks and trees. We do not speak or read Spanish so that the waitress quickly calls a phone call to the owner who speaks English and is pleased to make recommendations and help with the menu selection, we have ordered with their help and instructions, the lamb I normally do not like lamb much and the shrimp starter together with tomato bread. It was excellent, the lamb was mainly from this world, we were so full and then they brought us a tasty dessert to share us and not to blame us. The wine selection is great and even the house wine was really good the white. The service, what can I say, excellent, attentive, but not float. The prices were very cheap for Santa Marta and a flooring compared to Canadian prices. Recommend El Asador Espanol .

Es un excelente lugar para disfrutar en familia de sus carnes asadas, si bien su aspecto de casa colonial no opaca el excelente servio acorde a sus precios.
