Casa Grande - Santa Marta

We called for lunch and had the menu of the day, a chicken and a beef. The food is a good quality and a lot of it. We started with a really good soup. The meat was accompanied with plantains, corn pates, chips and salad (fruits... included in salad). They asked if we like rice. The menu deal came with a juice to all for 15000 pesos.

A typical Colombian style place with off course lots of meat. Everything is well grilled and served. Price quality is recommended

We visited after the acheological park, busy restaurant, with basic wooden tables chairs. Service was friendly prompt and portions large. I had the fish without bones it filled the plate, my husband the pork which was similar. It came with rice and chips...(too much)fried plantain and salad. Also had the vegetable soup to start, which was very nice but if you are a moderate eater you dont need starters and could have the infantil portions and would still be full. Loos clean. Worth visiting.

Ate here several times during our stay next door, and each time we were blown away by the spectacular food. The first night, we ordered two plates of trout (trucha) and steak (lomo) as well as a pitcher of limonada. The trout was amazing- it...was soft and tender with an outside that was crisped to perfection on the grill. It was a real wow factor. The steak was also incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. The limonada was refreshing and tangy, and was another must order. The entire place has a gorgeous atmosphere, and would be an amazing date night location. The price is very reasonable for what you are getting. It was 35 dollars for that meal with drinks, which is amazing for a place with that atmosphere. You get free bread with your food. I would also highly recommend their vegetable soup- it is incredible and rivals with the meats despite being vegetarian. Their pork ribs are also something to be proud of, same with their grilled chicken which is incredibly tender and flavorful. If you are in San Agustin, make sure to eat here. It's really worth it!
