Excelente experiência, desde o primeiro ao ultimo momento. Acolhimento exemplar por parte de todos os colaboradores, um pequeno almoço muito bem preparado, o conforto geral está a um nível superior. Local dispõe de boas vistas para o rio e impera o silêncio. A voltar em breve.

We are staying here at the hotel, and so getting to the restaurant was an easy decision. We had lunch in the bar earlier in the day, and it was excellent, so we felt that dinner would be even better. And it was we both had grilled cod on mashed potatoes, and it was fantastic. Had a bottle of Douro Blanco to drink with our main course, and it was also very good. Bread is served as an appetizer if you don’t order something else, and it was fresh and quite good. The serving staff speak good english, so we were able to communicate our needs to them easily. The dining room is smaller, but the view through the windows is incredible of the river below the hotel. I have read other reviews herein that described some not quite negative things, we do not share those opinions and in fact, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone who may be in this area.

The hotel offers a small menu but all dishes ordered were fine. The Maître D was very attentive, and even suggested a special local sparkling wine that we ended up accepting and was good. Nothing to complain.

Lovely food, Good service. Specially Vanessa was really sweet, pleasant and helpful....always smiling!
