Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I ate a few days ago in grekos. the food was delicious and well prepared. our server, israel, was efficient and helpful. the location, on the beach, with a light breze. the cost.....Kap, tostados, 2 entrees, mineral water,...2 corona and a Baileys....225 pesos. is grekos the culinary center of puerto, probably not, but for a healthy meal at a very reasonable price, while enjoying a view of the pazifik, it can not beat!
We stopped here to use the chairs and umbrellas and were pleasantly surprised how good our lunch was! the prices are also very reasonable. beautiful place to spend a day on the beach.
Eating is quite ok for the local standard, but it wouldn't be a prize winner in italien. but the place is friendly, why not. it's not a bad choice.
I was thrilled to try a Greek restaurant on the beach but found when we got it, it was a Mexican/Italian restaurant (for a place called grekos). the menu layout was very bad. difficult to understand, with only half of it translated and many. is not available when we ask for them. we ordered 4 pasta dishes. my cream speck dish was pretty good, and I would be happy to have it again. the Carbanara court my friend ordered was too salty for each of us to eat more than a little. the cream mushroom dish was not so good, and the sweet pepper dish was not too bad. the drinks took a long time to arrive (also water we ordered both paints. finally there were very loud karaoke right next door and smoked the next table.
We have been going to Grekos for the past five years and it is by far the best place in town. Owner Ofe and chef Estefania will make you a meal that is as good as a major restaurant anywhere in the world--just ask them....The have the best guacamole in Mexico! If you go for breakfast, ask for the pancakes. The are amazing.
