The Landing of Felice, Grazia and their children in Santa Margherita Ligure: a truly special place. High level cuisine, fair prices for the quality. We recommend it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I rarely leave reviews but there's no point beating around the bush, €124 for a risotto for two people, a half plate of scampi, a half bottle of prosecco and a bottle of water (no sweets, no coffee, no coffee killer . In addition 1 hour and forty minutes of waiting 10/15 minutes for dinner, and we weren't the only ones waiting. For what I ate and drank, if I had spent €70/80 for two I wouldn't have left any reviews and would have simply never gone again, instead I felt taken for a ride. Let's move on to the food because if I had eaten in proportion to the price I wouldn't have written any reviews. Seafood risotto: espresso, rice cooked well but from a risotto that is sold at €30 per person (discovered only when the bill arrived because normally if the price is per person it is indicated at €30/pers. I expect something exceptional full of colors and fish flavour, however the risotto was green in colour, there were less than 10 small mussels and clams (good but all shelled which on one hand pleases me but on the other makes me think badly , a very small shred perhaps of scampi donated by my wife and the dominant flavor is butter, vegetable broth, lots of parsley and garlic. Portion perhaps correct but certainly still poor for the above price. Scampi dish: €40 for 5 scampi (small size . when I was told that it would take 15 minutes to cook the scampi I was already suspicious, in fact overcooked scampi, difficult to remove them from their shell because they remained stuck and necessary to soak them in the pool of oil and lemon that was on the plate, very 80s as well as an absurd price. The staff were courteous but when the risotto arrived, not even a hint of apology for the hour and a half wait.
