Bidra med feedbackSome friends and I asked a few locals on the plaza for a quick lunch recommendation that we could take to go and they showed us here. we drove into the Kasha hood tent rocks and after the first bit we pour over our pitas from the beestro. they were fresh, tasteful and had so much taste. the gurkentomatosalat and quinoa tabbouleh were favorite add-ins and the sauces were all on point. we saw that they are presented on guy fieri’s diners drive-ins and dives on 13 september and we can absolutely see why. their build-it-your-way style middle Eastern/Mediterranean eating is top-notch. we hope they will soon make it our way so that we can enjoy this jewel!
I need to find a sandwich I don't like. edit: new delivery new! it's so sweet! the mini-seat corner in the free.
Cheap and good! fantastic baba ganoush, good hummus and homemade pita. they gave me a rehearsal of falafel, which was very tasty. and all for under $10, right in front of the santa Fe plaza. If I lived in town, I would eat a lot here.
A co-worker suggested that I try the quiche and the soup. I did, and they were delicious. They both tasted homemade. The location is easy to find downtown, and it has ambiance to the max. I will certainly go back again and again. But they are a little pricey, but its true, you pay for what you get. And The Beestro is certainly worth every mouth-watering bite.
This is a different cafe than the now defunct Beestro on Marcy St. This is a delicious, casual, Mediterranean lunch place. They offer salads, bowls (they call rice plates), kabobs and pita sandwiches. You choose a main ingredient (lamb, falafel, chicken schawarma -not in cream sauce- or steak strips) and add yummy toppings and sauces. Be aware that the price can add up quickly. It's very casual, which I like, and can be a quick place to get lunch. I wish they were open for dinner. It's a nice addition to Santa Fe!
