Sushi Land East - Santa Fe

The best taste of sushi restaurant in santa fe, this place has not much table, but it is cozy! I love it. . update: so I went back to this place. I think the waiter doesn't seem professional. but the sushi taste was excellent!

Kellner is underwhelming, but simple authentic sushi is very well made. have the omakase (traditional) a few weeks ago and I plan my next trip.

Masa is an excellent chef. my cousin and I gave our choices to lunch and chose to measure for his professional. I'm sure I'll do this every time I visit his wonderful facility when he presented what one of the best things I had in my life so far, and it'll be hard to beat. many thanks for this amazing experience.

I often go here with a Japanese friend, (I lived there 20 years.) sushi land east is an excellent place with delicious food and the prices are almost cheap, esp. compared to another Japanese restaurant in santa fe, which should remain unnamed. Yes, it is busy and yes, they have now and then some problems with the waiting staff, but we think it is charming. someone complained about the menu handwritten. take negative reviews with a large salt grain. they often say more about the valiant than it is about the place that is being checked!

Hands down the best sushi place we have ever eaten at, and we eat sushi everywhere we go. Even the “basic” rolls are fantastic and carefully prepared with great care and detail. Small menu, but that enhances the experience. Masa hand prepared the ninja ice cream special for our 4 year old just out of the goodness of his heart. It made our 4 year olds evening. Good atmosphere, better food. Get to this place now.
