Bidra med feedbackThe cocktails here were creative and delicious. The smell of smoke (from their smoked cocktails) may be too much for some, but I think it added to the vibe. The space is cozy and well decorated, keeping with the Santa Fe style. We will definitely be backnext time we are visiting.
Want to know the secret about Secreto? They serve all the food from Market Steer steakhouse. So if you can't get a reservation at Market Steer and you have a hankerin' for steak, show up at Secreto, and get your delicious steak without the stuffiness ofthe white tablecloths. Great cocktails and steaks, friendly service. Drinks can take a little while, but just relax. You're onvacation, right? Take it easy.
Went in on a Sunday evening, decently populated. Bar was full, but most tables where empty and only 6 people on the patio, so steady but not busy by any metric. The sage they use for their signature cocktail is borderline overpowering. Sat down and wastotally ignored, after a long wait an elderly couple sat next to me. The server promptly took their order, then bypassed me andcleaned the table next to me, then went to the bar. She talked to another server then they both went up to the old couple to asktheir drink order again. I gave a very annoyed looked to the second server and she told the first one to help me. FINALLY, shecomes over and asked me what I wanted (no greeting, no menu, nothing). I ordered a cranberry juice and she was off. She cameback with the old couples drinks and then immediately bused a dirty table the couple asked for, and the promptly disappearedfrom the bar. I walked out, never even saw my cranberry juice.
If you enjoy incense, this is the bar for you!! We walked in Saturday evening, July 9, 2022, to our surprise, it was relatively empty for a rainy evening. The plan was to have drinks at the bar, while waiting for our table at Market Steer. Myhusband took a seat at the bar, unfortunately, I could not. As soon as I walked into the bar, the smell of incense wasoverpowering!! I am sensitive to smell, so I use my husband as my barometer, he looked at me said ?we can?t stay?. On thebar, the employees had an urn overflowing with 20+ reeds, burning. We went out to the patio area, it was crowded!! No seats, people were having their drinks out there?I asked a couple if there was outside service, they laughed said ?no, you gotta goback into the smelly bar?, to which a few others commented on how unbearable the inside is. Not sure if the service drinkswere good, we left. We are on a vacation, with 2 more destinations, no laundry for another 8 days, can?t have our clothessmelling. It?s to bad that the manager allows the bartenders to stink out the bar with incense burning. It also impacted ourdinner reservation at Market Steer. We cancelled it dinned at Coyote Cafe (Beautiful restaurant, sat at the chefs bar, friendly bartenders, just the smell of really good food!! .
We have tried other fancy cocktail bars in town to varying degrees of success and/or mediocrity this one is the best. The drinks are creative and delicious, the bartenders know what they're doing. Every cocktail I've had here has been excellent.
