Just came back from Sai De Baixo. My girlfriend had had a wonderful time! Food was amazing, fresh and full of flavor. Restaurant is a local hidden gem owned by a lovely family. It's under the bridge and not so easy to find at first, but follow your intuition and you'll find an amazing place where you'd have a great time. Also, you will probably be getting a live music performance.

The staff are amazing but unfortunately we did not enjoy the food at all..We paid 50 euros for very salty food and the picanah was over cooked.. 50 euros is alot for Madeiran prices. We had meals for 15 euros that were out of this world!
