Pizzeria Avanti - Santa Cruz

Excellent pizza! We're on a 65-day road trip, pizza aficionados, and that's the best pizza we had so far. Thin crust w/ a perfect bite, simple San Marzano tomato sauce, homemade Italian sausage and vegetables. Can you say we loved it? Server was also great. Quiet place that was perfect. I wish this place was in our hometown!

Pizza was delicious, thin and love the burned crust edges. Not too cheesy or too much sauce. All around good.

Definitely one of my favorite pizzas in Santa Cruz. It is hard to get authentic Italian pizza like this, unless you are in a larger city. Great place for a stop for a fast and cost-effective meal. Your hot gourmet olive plates are incredible with pizza.

Wonderful experience in Pizzeria Avanti we shared the butter salad with beet salad, then split the lasagna and the chicken fusilli. We had more than enough leftovers the next day! Excellent wine, great staff, always a pleasure to dine here.

Pizza is ok. Server acted weird, like I stole smth from them.
