Great tasty food. Friendly service, and there is a ping pong table. It feels warm inside. There is a good choice of drinks that includes: some fizzy drinks like coke, and alcoholic drinks. Vegetarian options: There is some vegetarian pizza, salads, and some other food. Kid-friendliness: Workers always smile to kids and are very friendly, like to joke and talk.

This is for all the tourists reading this because us locals already know how good Engfers is) Please come support this classic amazing Santa Cruz establishment!I’ve been coming here since a kid, and it’s the best pizza spot in town, with great history in the building, great beer, wine, and drinks, and even better pizza from a beautiful wood fired oven.Highly recommend! $37 out the door for a 14” pie makes this a very costly treat. The dough was interesting, different from others. Layered and almost like a pita.Had the feta, pineapple, red onion, pesto pie. It was definitely good.

This is our go to place for pizza. Wood fired friendly and always great pizza.Hot Seabright Nights and Ace's Wild are some of our favorites.

Everything about Engfer's is awesome! I have traveled around the world and had pizza in a lot of places. But the pizza at Engfer's is the best I've EVER had! You gotta try it at least once!
