Bidra med feedbackWe went for Valentine's Day. The appetizers and entres were served at the same time. The Caesar salad was mediocre at best and set us back $10. The salad was served on a bread plate. Very small portion for the price point. $28 for ravioli that was just ok
Just found this place while visiting a friend. I'm an Italuan SNOB- and their seafood Pasta Santa Cruz knocked my socks off! Fresh fish, just a hint of lemon, really REALLY GOOD! They had a pretty cool band playing too. They happened to play my fav John Prine song! There's a disco ball twirling, which sounds a little crazy, but I didn't notice it at first- when I did I thought it was kinda fun! Really good service too. I will DEFINATELY BE BACK!!!
Great dinner! Pizza is amazing! Best crust ever!!!! Service was outstanding! Can't wait to visit again.... Caffe Lucio is on the list of must stop!!!
This place is awesome! The food is delicious and is all made from scratch, very cool atmosphere and great food love it!
Pleasant atmosphere, and seems like a fun place to hang out for the bar. As a dining experience it was pretty substandard. The background music was much too loud, especially with there only being about 3 parties seated at the time. It was a little awkward having to raise my voice to the person across from me, despite being the only people present in that entire section. The food itself looked promising, but I'd consider most of it diner-quality food at fine-dining prices, a poor combination. I tried the artichoke raviolis while my friend ordered the lamb shank. The pasta itself was so-so; bland and rather unimaginative despite potential for something great. It's not far from a pasta you might get at a Denny's or Applebees--not quite even Olive Garden grade. The lamb shank reminded me of an underseasoned pot roast from Costco or something, served with a side of mushy overcooked vegetables. There just wasn't any love in the menu or the execution of it, and you could taste it. Might be tolerable if the prices were sliced in half, but as it stands I wouldn't go back. I'd highly recommend Lillian's or Cafe Mare over this for Italian fine dining.
