Bidra med feedbackWe spent 1 night at Rifugio Vicenza and we really enjoyed it. The location is superb. The rooms and bathrooms are ok: you don't expect more from a rifugio in the middle of the mountains. Food was VERY good and the service is good, too. The staff is friendly and has a lot of patience to assist their clients. Definitely recommended.
Nice place to grab a beer and something to eat while circumnavigating the Sassolungo. Equally a great stop for a beer while making your way to the Toni DeMetz Rifugio. Incredible views.
My sister and I were supposed to spend the night here, but we took a wrong turn and ended up somewhere else! Luckily we made it here the next morning for coffee. The last bit of the hike up was steep (totally expected), but it was worth it. Views were amazing!! We were too early for lunch so had some cappuccinos instead. What an experience! Maybe next time we'll actually get to stay here...
We stayed here for the night. There is no shower, I must warn you. Friendly people. We had dinner here, price is a bit high, but understandable. Food is very nice, mountain or local food.
After taking the lift to R Demetz and descending the steep route to R Vicenza, we stopped for a well deserved lunch. Food was good, as usual for Italian mountain huts. The goulash soup was one of the best I've had.
