Malga Cason - SANTA CRISTINA VALGARDENA

We never expected to find such first rate cuisine on a mountain in Tirol above St. Ulrich) ! We’ve been searching for years for a repeat Knödel experience in Tirol northern Italy) and the Knoedel soup here was fabulous! We also ordered Apple strudel which was outstanding freshly baked, full of apple flavor and speckled with a few succulent raisins. The pastry portion was a special “Mürbeteig” that was simply delicious and complimented by freshly whipped cream served respectfully beside the strudel. Clearly, a lot of love and attention to detail is reflected in the food here.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, this hut is a true old-style Malga. We ate a complete meal spending much less than in other near huts, the food was good and authentic, as was the service. 10/10 would recommend!

Nella malga a oltre 2.000 metri di altezza si gode veramente di un'ottima esperienza, con una vista spettacolare sulle montagne circostanti. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e il cibo delizioso.

Ottime recensioni per il ristorante sulla Malga! Il gelato yogurt è delizioso e l'atmosfera è accogliente e cordiale. Facilmente raggiungibile da Resciesa, è il luogo perfetto per una pausa dolce.

A nice and romantic Malga where we got a very good plate with cured meat. The young buy in the family was so eager to help his parents clearing the tables!
