Enjoyed a pleasant evening in this friendly restaurant. Helpful staff, good quality food, large portions, decent house wine, definitely worth a visit.

We had the swordfish steaks and tuna belly, which came with sweet potato, boiled potato and salad. All were fresh, delicious and served with a smile. We got a taxi from Tavira costing 5 euros and the waiter called for a return taxi for us which arrived within ten minutes. Be aware that the bread, olives and sardine pate that arrived to start are charged.

We had a good inexpensive meal in this restaurant on a day out in Tavira and Santa Luzia. The portion sizes for the swordfish and the tuna were good and these tasty, well-cooked dishes were good value. The house wine was also good.

Well established restaurant set back in village unlikely to pass it so worth seeking it out online or recommendation. Extensive menu is mainly fresh fish orientated which is. “no brainer” for Santa Luzia and it’s great fishing industry. Both casual tapas dining or more formal dinner are both available with reservation recommended for dining. One of us had octopus; the other had belly of tuna. Both delicious ! Had expected to revisit only a change of circumstances prevented. Great prices/value for everything.

We’ve eaten at this restaurant many times when we stay in Santa Luzia. The Restaurant has now moved location but it’s still in Santa Luzia. It now has a lovely terrace and a very pleasant dining area inside. The menu is the same and still as delicious, I had the Clams and Sardines. A very nice Bottle of local Rose from Luz da Tavira. I strongly recommend you visit for a meal if you are in Santa Luzia.
