Bidra med feedbackWhat a Joke of a place. This is absolute robbery for the price of a slice of pizza. Dominos makes a better pizza than this. No where near a quality NY slice.
The worst pizza I've ever had in my life. One of the pizzas had anchovies on it and it tasted like something that would be served in fear factor. The price tag was insane, $50 WITH TIP FOR 5 slices. Absurd. 0 stars.
A dollar slice of pizza in nyc is better than a $7.76 slice of pizza at uncle Rocco’s Ny pizza in Santa Barbara, CA.The security guy is whack. The staff is nice. The highlight of waiting 15 minutes for a slice of cheese was watching a guy eat two hot dogs in line while waiting to order and seeing a women vomit outside of the two bathrooms.Italian flag is a nice touch. The heavy nyc decor made me miss the smell of the 4 train in Manhattan.
I came in for a slice and ended up with a small pizza sized box with a massive slice in it. I think with taxes and all it was a little over $8, kind of a lot for a slice but everything is expensive anymore I guess. I'll pay $8 for a legit slice of thin crust NY style though, it's my favorite kind of pizza. It was delicious and I'd go again and eat a couple more slices probably. The dude behind the counter was friendly and I got my food quickly. The storefront is GQ, lookin good.
Pros: Probably the best pizza in Santa Barbara. The dough tastes correct and I'll give the most marks there, the crust is solid and the sauce and cheese act as a decent compliment. The sauce is on the muted riper side. Got pepperoni as the topping, and no issues there. The pizza came with a nice logo'd wax paper over the paper plate, this was a nice touch. Note: I think some other commenter complained about paper plates, in New York unless you get a pie, this is how pizza is traditionally served. It is *not* knife and fork food. The paper plate is the perfect compliment as it has give, this is suited to proper pizza-eating technique and etiquette. Cons: I can get (at least) three or four slices and a soda for the same price is most of New York, but hey, California. Pizza isn't really a thing here. Also watch out for the upcharge on card payments, I'm not sure why out here everywhere has such high minimums or fees, it feels back in time, in the not so good way I mean. Conclusion: Anyways, if you need a pizza fix in Santa Barbara, I would recommend this joint. Just be aware, it's probably far more worth it to get a whole pie at the price-point.
