This cute little joint is 2 hours away from me and it is well worth the drive! Ever since I tried the margherita pizza, no other compares and I constantly rave about it. Their margherita was number one for me until I tried the Mexican street corn pizza. I've had a lot of pizza in my life but that pizza is by far the best I've ever had. Can't even explain how good it was, you just have to try it for yourself!

Lucky Penny is located in the Funk zone .. it is super close to the hotel we stay at (The waterman) We found it on our 1st visit but had already eaten that time. This time we made a point of stopping in. I ordered online before we left the hotel. When i arrived i ordered a lemon ice frose type thing...holy hot damn ...it was AMAZING! Like a lemony dole whip type of beverage ...but adulted up with some alcohol! Pizza came out and we decided to stay and eat at the outdoor picnic tables. the atomosphere was super cool... the pizza was phenomenal! we ordered the OG on this visit. my friend showed up and ordered shishito peppers and they were very good also. we returned 2 days later...this time we had the margherita pizza and the mexican corn style pizza.. all i can say is WOW ...the crust is is perfect. the flavors are fresh and delish. if i was in SB i would head over and order another pizza right now!

The pizza was amazing! A great finish to the day. We ordered the strawberry lemonade, as well, which complemented the pizza perfectly. The arugula and strawberry salad was also stellar. And what really tied the meal together was ambiance of the outdoor dining. Definitely one of the best in Santa Barbara!

No fuss pizza joint. We ordered OG pizza and two salads and all of it was delicious. The pizzas are thin crust pizzas so it came out quick. The OG pizza was a little spicy from the sausages and the smoked mozzarella added a little complexity to the pizza. The salads were well dressed and abundant. One salad and a pizza would have been enough for two not too hungry people. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when we come to visit.
