Bidra med feedbackThis was a great sensory emersion experience. My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed the opprtunity to enjoy each other with no distractions or interruption that come with holiday dinners.
My son I headed out to this restaurant where you eat in the dark. Ironically, the darkness was eye opening. The tension rose as we stepped into the inky abyss with our hand on each other’s shoulder as the waiter guided us to our table. Gently he surfed through the waves of sound helped me sit down. While being seated, it was apparent that my sight would become obsolete for this experience; after all, there were no candles, hanging lights or even watches. Dots and squiggles of silver consumed my view, in moments I began adjusting. My hands danced across the table to where I found something that felt familiar, although it was never so difficult to butter bread. Swipes and jabs at the baked wheat proved to be ineffective. The rolls were a worthy opponent, but through trial and error, I found myself becoming more comfortable. Navigating around the table was difficult exciting. I will never forget this dining experience. I appreciated our waiter Rafael’s transparency his openness about how he became blind later in life. He said, “you’re more fragile than you think.”
Always a good experience but the table next to us was way to loud and they had their phones out using them for light when it should 've been put away! #NoLightsPeriod I think the tables are a little to close now... table next to me spilled their water and it splashed on my foot
Great unique experience. Unfortunately there was a party there with children who were allowed to run around in the dark and and screamed for most of our dinner. I blame the parents for allowing it but our server, the food and the experience was great.
It’s an experience you have to try at least once in your lifetime.
