Bidra med feedbackThe service: IMPECCABLE! Everyone was so nice and polite. They checked on our table often and were very attentive. We ordered a menudo and birria de chivo. Both were delicious! They arrived at the table steaming hot and the consomé for the birria was tasty. The food came with onion, cilantro, lemon, and some spicy chiles de árbol. They also have handmade tortillas!! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the place!
This place is a hole on the wall but WOW what a great home cooked style Mexican food they serve!!!! The green pozole is a must try. I think it's their specialty. It gets a little crowed on Sunday because it's worth it. They have pozole every day which usually most Mexican restaurants only serve on weekends. My husband and I highly recommend this place. The service is great too. The owner is usually the one doing the seating and he is super friendly. All in all just great food and service!!
This is the place to get your pozole and menudo! This place only offers menudo on the weekends and for the price of $12.75, you get a huge bowl of menudo, three pieces of fresh corn tortilla, and all of the condiments to add to the soup. The menudo was flavorful and filled with ingredients. One thing I wish they had was hominy, but even without it, I felt that the portion was more than enough to feed one person. The green pozole was a bit pricier at $15.50. However, it comes with a lot of condiments and two taquitos to eat with the soup. Their green pozole was full of hominy and chicken! The soup itself was very well seasoned. Some may find the green pozole a bit salty, but it's perfect for me!The restaurant itself is very small and they were packed at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. I took my order to-go, and it stayed piping hot after a 30-minute drive home. This is definitely my new favorite place for pozole and menudo!
Love the pozole verde! Can't get enough. Especially with all this rain we've been having. 5 stars always.
Stopped by for some caldo de res based on the reviews. Small but clean restaurant. It's 6pm on Friday. The booths are full. We had tostadas, tacos and caldo. All the dishes were good. Hand made tortillas were perfect with the caldo. The chicken tostados were fresh and filling. Drinks were horchata and jamaica. We will definitely be back for the menudo on the weekends.
