Bidra med feedbackThe place to go if you want good patatas bravas, croquetas or a good lunch, everything they make is really good. As a local I cannot get enough of this place, It’s an excellent choice.
I had researched this suburb and restaurant as part of a planned hike through the nearby natural park. We scrapped the longer excursion and just took the train up. I was sorry to miss the Sunday music but it was still lively up here. We were the only Americans around so if you’re looking for non-touristy, this is it. We got the menu, i had a salad with goat cheese and it was very tasty. It had all sorts of vegetables in it. My partner got a salad with avocado and salmon. We shared the paella. She showed it to us before serving and it was huge. So much seafood and flavor. I had a white wine which was very dry and refreshing. He had a local amber ale. I highly recommend this place.
Many of the wonderfully alternative people like modern day hippies) in the neighbourhood of La Floresta come to meet, dance and share on Sunday mornings. The epicentre is La Floresteca where they open up the doors and musicians set up to play to the plaza. We sat inside afterwards and had the wok noodles with chicken €7). It was just fine and went very well with a local beer. The place has an amazing vibe absolutely worth visiting if you are nearby on a Sunday.
