It is our go to restaurant while we are in sanremo for three months. Good food, great service, cozy homey atmosphere. Excellent set menu with very cheap price. The owner/waitress speaks excellent English and very kind. We see many local business people eating alone during lunch time...
We dined at A Cuvea last night and it was a remarkable experience. Reasonably priced, excellent quality, good variety of regional dishes. The host, a charming gentleman, is helpful professional and good humoured.
The white wine of the house, presented to us as Pinot Grigio, was really mediocre in my opinion. sin, because for the rest the experience of this place was more than decent. three linguini to the mussels and two potato polyp were among our orders (two of which in the context of a complete menu). also a roast, and as dessert an ice cream and a cake pears and chocolate. all for a total of euro. as far as we can see, the restaurant is very popular with local customers; that is not useless. the room is not wide, so you discover a certain angustia of space (our four table really had the least vital).
