Restaurant-Bar Alt Montafon

We were here serveral times during our skiing trip. We always managed to get a table for 6 people without calling beforehand. There are lots of traditional Austrian dishes. I can recommend the cordon bleu which is served on a large wooden plate. They fondly decorated their restaurant with old tools, signs and wooden boards from farmhouses. Rustic restaurant with a wide collection of clocks and chandeliers places all over. Wooden furniture, ceiling and floor. Very nicely decorated. However, the food quality when we had lunch there was not consistent. The soup (Fleischsuppe) was fantastic, the gulasch (Rindsgulasch) was full of meat chunks and of reasonably good quality and the salad (salat putenstreife) was sub-standard with withered leaves and yoghurt as a base instead of salad dressing which was disappointing. Worth visiting to enjoy the interior.

Waren in unserem Familienurlaub hier essen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Das Ambiente urig und die Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Toll ! Seeeehr leckere österreichische Speisen! Netter chief mit nettem Personal hier und dort, in der dazugehörigen Pizzeria! Knoblauchsuppe, Gulasch, allerdings nur u.a. sehr zu empfehlen!
