For Christmas lunch 2019 the service was managed in 3.5 h (from 13:00 to 16:30) in my opinion excessive in the timing even though numerous bis were granted both on the first and on the second. The strength is the kitchen, with cured dishes. Excellent appetizer to the toast with shrimp sautée while I didn't like matching with the grated pharaoh and fondue of Monteveronese. Among the first, excellent risotto with scampi, scallops and pumpkin, for the excellent combination between the sapidity of the grain and the sweet tendency of the pumpkin and the scampi. In the second dish, cured in every element, stood the grilled lamb, well cooked and rich in flavor. Kitchen of good digestibility.
I went to lunch today to celebrate my grandparents. The repeated sins on the service have vanished the quality of the dishes. In detail: 1) the waitress brings us a list telling us that the others will bring them as soon as they are withdrawn from the other tables, after 10 minutes when all 5 people of the table had been able to look at the only bear list, the waitress comes with another 3. At the table we were in 5 and therefore also with the second lap lacked a card; 2) After the appetizer we order first dishes for some and second dishes for others, asking that we be brought together. Result: the first arrives and when they were almost totally eaten (no less than 7/8 minutes have passed) and after reminding the maitre of room Alessandra the waited contemporaneity, the second arrives for the 2 people who were waiting for them and saw the others eat; 3) the same thing happens with desserts: 3 dishes with cakes immediately ready while for the 2 sorbets it is necessary to wait another 6/7 minutes from the arrival of the desserts and the same are served before a table near where they were ordered after us; 4) I arrive at the cashier to pay and I'm not even asked if everything was our liking. I repeat quality of the dishes very good, but very bad service and care of the customer equal to zero. In 2010 I made the wedding lunch here and my wife's colleagues have lunch almost every day, but today we all went out unsatisfied also because the cost of food should assume a service significantly better!!! In summary, as written in the title: to be improved. In fact much to improve.
Locals whose structure is firm about 40 years ago, the service is also discreet, the proposals of the dishes are acceptable and what I would say discreet but this does not justify certain figures. 25/30 years made sense but now no longer. Outdated
Went a Saturday evening... environment firm to the 80s... great service unique and good dishes...MA!....a fish catalana and a crouton with white truffle fondue...2 truffle risotto...1/4 white to the plug 1lt of water 1 dessert and 1 coffee....143€...I understood the truffle but you are exaggerated with the prices...
I was last Saturday at the wedding of friends. The place is spacious and the dishes are very well maintained both in the quality of the products and in the planting. Very kind and attentive walkers in the service. There has been a bit of waiting for the arrival of the dishes but I think that this depends on the fact that the jokes were made to the spouses during the dinner and therefore the kitchen had to be informed in advance of the time of realization of the jokes. Surely I recommend it!
