La Fiesta - Sangamon

This place is a gem! My whole family was so impressed. Everything was flavorful and well balanced. “Smooth” was the word that kept getting repeated-from the salsa to the margarita, to the sauces. AMAZING food. Just sad that we were only passing through.

Two couples traveling stopped here for dinner. We sat outside under a covered patio. The service was WONDERFUL and the food was excellent. When our waiter learned that we were celebrating an anniversary, they came with a complimentary dessert, two sombreros, and surrounded us and sang a song! Perfect ending to a perfect evening!!!

We stop at this restaurant every time we are passing thru Springfield, IL. The service food has always been EXCELLENT…YUMMO! Do not judge this restaurant based on its outside appearance, once inside everything is FANTASTIC!!

They are one of the only places that offer spinach chicken enchiladas and are fantastic. Everything was flavorful. Just small portions of cheese dip for the price. Strawberry daiquiri was good but average. One of the better places in the area.

Food comes out in 10 minutes or less or it’s free! Great for workday lunches.
