Bidra med feedbackGod loves Zaxbys' Cause they have the best sweet tea and excellent chicken finger. Never a bad meal here or in other places.
That was my first visit to Zaxby. I drove past Orange City several times. The reason why I never stopped at a Zaxby's is because of their reputation of being excessively expensive mediocre chicken restaurant. I was in a hurry and saw Lake Mary Zaxby’s right before I had to turn before I went to 417. There was no one in the menu, so I pulled in. The customer asked “Can I take your order?” I ordered Classic Chicken Sandwich Combo applied near the menu board. The customer asked if Pickles and Zax Sauce were all right? I asked what is Zax sauce? She couldn't really explain it. I said how it always comes. She asked what I wanted to drink, I asked what you have, that's not carbonized. It begins with caffeine-free coke. I told her I'd just take a sweet tea. Says your sum is 8.01. Two cars were waiting at the window. The first one was there about a minute before he left. The second car waits 4 minutes to order there. The checkout was polite and friendly. She gave me the sweet tea and asked if I wanted ketchup. I said sure. She came back in two minutes and gave me a bag and said, "I put three." That means 3 ketchup. The cashier Karen was very pleasant and cheerful. I pulled under a tree in the parking lot, put my straw in the iced tea and took a big drink. The sweet tea was a perfect South sweet tea, strong tea taste and sweet but not syrupy sweet. The tea was full of taste and refreshment. I opened the sandwich, orange sauce was everywhere in the foil bag. The Orang sauce, Zax sauce was like a mild buffalo sauce, tangy, zesty, but not too hot. The bungalow was like a Hawaiian bungalow, but not too soft. The chicken breast was well baked and golden brown. The dough was crispy. The chicken was slightly damp and seemed a little tricky. It was a delicious sandwich. I finished the sandwich and drove for the 417. When I moved into Lake Mary Blvd, I came in for a frit. The wrinkles were thick, but did not seem to be thoroughly cooked. They were squishy like a slop chip or under cooked frit. I ate several on Lake Mary Blvd then when I moved to the 417 I saw that one had a season like paprika. I tasted the red spice and it was a little spicy and salty. It could have been better if there was more season on the frits so you could taste the taste. I'll try Zaxbys again.
