The server was very attentive and we enjoyed the delicious meatball appetizer and charcuterie board. However, the grilled octopus appetizer was tough and overcooked. The duck and fontina cheese pasta was outstanding. We were impressed with the beautiful presentation and tasty flavors of the three dessert options. Overall, it was a really lovely dining experience.

Il Giallo has consistently been one of our go-to places for dining out, and that remains true. Serena, as always, was exceptional - friendly and very attentive. The only drawback was that on this particular visit, the special dish was a bit small in portion size, but it was still quite tasty. Overall, the experience was excellent and we plan on returning.

Dinner took a long time- 3 hours. Our waitress said we needed to order everything simultaneously, but I think there was way too much time between courses. I ordered spaghetti and told the waitress no cheese and no dairy multiple times. The menu doesn't say there is any cheese in the entree (it should!!! , but I know it's often included at Italian restaurants, even if it's just on top. After two bites, I realized cheese was folded into the entire dish, so I had to return it for a different one. I also added meatballs, which says it comes with 3, but I got 2. Overall, it was an OK meal, but for $150+, it could have been a better experience.
