China Cooks - Sandy Springs

China Cooks is a great little Chinese restaurant; the food is always good, and the service is very good. The only negative is the place. There are always dozens of workers hanging in the area and the exterior of the shopping center leaves much to be desired. But the food is great and very reasonable. The place is generally also empty, so it offers a nice alternative to Sandy Springs usual lunches.

Don't be fooled from outside. The neighborhood is a little sketched. But the food is good again, the house fried rice, and the egg rolls are my favorite.

Great food! Don't worry about the appearance. The best food is always in small dives like this.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. I was looking for Chinese food in the area and decided to try this place instead of the usual canton of chefs and I'm glad I did it! I tried a few things: Japanese tofu on point. The tofu was delicious and sauce was right. Again, they even surprised this court and I'm glad they did. Salt Pepper Squid crunchy, not overbreaded, and seasoned well. A salty fish fried rice not for all, but it's something I always enjoy. They had a good amount of salty fish in there, so it was pretty good. It's a little suspect. It is located in a strip-mall that is not very nice so you never expect this restaurant here. The interior of the restaurant could probably look some work, not the cleanest. Overall, I am impressed and I will definitely come back.

Because of the appearance of the mall, I'm skeptical to come here... but I'm glad. I ordered the Seasam chicken w/pan fries rice and it was delicious! The food was very fresh..i will come here regularly!
