Bidra med feedbackIf you like reheated over cooked chicken you'll love this place ... We had the Curry chicken and Satay Chicken with fried rice, which we get regularly from other restaurants. Unfortunately 90% of what we got went straight in the bin the chicken was practically uneatable, extremely disappointing
I had been to this restaurant before and had a good meal so walked in without a booking on a Saturday night at 7:40pm and they were happy to offer us a table. The service is just the menu is extensive so plenty to choose from. The Duck with Plum sauce was good at $30.50, the combination seafood was also tasty at $28. The prawn dumplings were good though on the high side of 3 for $8.00 and the chicken and corn soup was $7.50. Most of the diners were dressed well the food came out in a timely manner and was good.
This restaurant has very average decor, but has the best Chinese food in Hobart and especially relatively quick takeaway service. The food is always superbly cooked, and the ingredients are fresh. The house specialty if you have not tried it is special fried rice and it is a meal in itself
We visit this restaurant whenever we can. It's a great place to meet with friends, the service is always great, the food is top class and it is excellent value for money.
The restaurant was not busy yet food took some time to come out, the entrees were very ordinary with little flavour. One main course was incorrect - mongolian lamb when we ordered beef. I must admit I did not take much notice of the prices on the menu and our son paid and later said it was $95.80, we could have had similar dishes that tasted a lot better locally for around $65. We were visiting the area and it was the only bad meal we had in Tasmania.
