Bidra med feedbackVisited here for the first time recently and really enjoyed it, had a lovely wrap and cup of tea. Service was good and fast, only problem was it was quite busy so ended up sitting outside. Wide range of toasties, sandwiches, cakes, drinks hot and cold. Plenty of parking
This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to, despite traveling all over the country. It's disappointing that management has not taken note of the negative reviews. The staff's attitude was poor from top to bottom. They need to remember that customers are the reason they have a job and shouldn't treat them like an inconvenience. Additionally, I did not want a takeaway cup but was charged for one because they decided not to use crockery.
I visited the restaurant at 4:35 PM and was served by Amelia, who is a supervisor. Her behavior was extremely poor and disgusting. I asked for my drink to be remade because it was not what I ordered. I mentioned that I buy drinks from the city regularly and this was my evening coffee. I explained that the drink was not right and needed more pumps, but she insisted it was fine. When she checked with the person who made it, he confirmed that it was a different drink. She refused to give me a receipt and claimed that all staff members say I complain all the time. I simply want my drink to be made correctly if I am paying for it. I asked if she could make me a new drink and she rudely responded that she's not an octopus and said, "whatever." Amelia needs training on how to speak to people as she is extremely rude and obnoxious. I remained calm and polite throughout the interaction, but she started throwing things. The staff at this location need better training or the old staff back, as the new employees have a terrible attitude. Please contact me to discuss the number of drinks I purchase from your store. It's a shame because the location is great, but the staff, especially Amelia, are awful. Having her as a supervisor reflects poorly on the restaurant. It's not professional to inform customers that the staff does not like them. If the drinks were made properly, there would be no complaints. Amelia lacks basic logic and communication skills, which are essential for personal growth.
This is a great spot to grab a coffee to go or catch up with friends. There is ample parking available (managed by Asda), although there is a time limit of 1.5 hours. The space is not very large and can get crowded at times, so make sure to visit during quieter hours for a more relaxing coffee experience.
We have been using this place for a few years for coffee. My husband likes the coffee. We visited today 9/11/20. There were two young men serving and making coffee. There were three young men in front of me in the queue who bore no resemblance, so I doubt they were from the same household. None wore face masks and were clearly known to the staff as they were laughing about it. I then got to the counter and handed over my own cups which the staff member picked up by putting his fingers inside both. I made it clear it wasn't OK, so he poured hot water over them. The staff making the coffee had his face mask under his chin. The cappuccinos were more like lattes. Very disappointing. The friends of the staff drunk their drinks and left the empty cups on the car park. I won't be using this branch again. Very unprofessional.
