Gitchigoomie Grill - Sandusky

First and last time eating there. Our server was terrible in every sense—rude, didn’t come over to us until we finally asked the host who our server was. She didn’t do anything at all for our entire stay. The host brought our food, after a few minutes we had to ask him for extra plates. Another server brought us extra napkins. And yet another serve checked us out. I’m not sure of her name because she literally said 3 words to us but she had long black hair. Food is….not good. I wasn’t expecting great, was expecting adequate. I’d say it would be a stretch to call the food adequate. All in all I can’t believe this place hasn’t been replaced because it’s such a missed opportunity to have something fun and yummy for the kids/families.

Took over twenty minutes to get seated What no customers in front of us Staff acted like no one was waiting No one there to great the customers ?

Food was terrible. Cold, unseasoned the ribs tasted like a hot dog. Too expensive to be poor quality food. Service was good

This place should be renamed to “GotChaMoney” Grill. It would be more fitting than anything else. It is conveniently located though.

Family restaurant serving meals and snacks throughout the day. We ordered the family style breakfast. It consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, small pastries, small bowl of fruit and pancakes. I don't recall if drinks and coffee were included in the price? The children enjoyed the pancakes, however we found the rest of the meal rather dry as it had probably been prepared for opening time around 7am and just kept in a warmer? We were there around 10am. The atmosphere is interesting and the staff were great. Not sure if $66 is good value for 2 adults and 2 children (who only ate pancakes). However this is a resort and the restaurant is convenient.
