Very basic looking from outside and pretty minimalist looking on inside but boy was the food good! Came here for fresh lake fish and we were not disappointed. I ordered Walleye bites and my spouse had fried Perch strips. The portions were large and very tasty- hush puppies cooked just right and the special butter a perfect complement. Wish we lived closer as we’d return frequently!
Ate here for the 1st time yesterday. The Waitress was Great!! Couldn't ask for anything better. Now for the food. Wish I had tried the clam chowder instead of the Lobster Bisque. I have had and loved a lot of Bisque but the taste on this missed the mark. It tested like they opened a can of creamed tomato soup put it in a bowl, put some Lobster like meat into, microwave it and put cheese on it. next: the dozen Cherrystone clams. these were very testy but very tiny. Now the Cherrystone clams I buy are huge so we're they baby cherrystones? Last: the cheese Raviolis with scallops, shrimp and crab. not sure if I want to know how this was cooked besides that this was a great dish. I would buy it again. price: with prices of supplies being so high how are do they have good prices on their dishes. I would go back and try different things.
Went there a few weeks ago after asking a friend where a good place to eat was. She said she loved their burgers. My waitress suggested the seafood ravioli. I said sure let's try it. Oh my goodness! I think it was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life! The seafood, the sauce...it was amazing! I keep thinking about it. I did go back last week and had a mushroom and onion stuffed burger and it was also really good but I don't think anything will ever compare to the seafood ravioli.
Perch was tasty. Zucchini was excellent. Tartar sauce above average.
