Applebee's Grill - Sandusky

Cam, the waiter who served us on the night of February 5th, was outstanding. He was very attentive and made sure we received all our food promptly. He took great care of our table throughout the evening.

The food was stale, with dry ribs and soggy wraps. The salad and spices were clearly past their prime. The staff seemed indifferent, and the waitress appeared to be nursing a hangover. Overall, a disappointing experience.

What impressed me was that when I finished my lemonade, the waitress actually asked if I wanted a refill instead of just taking my cup as most servers at larger chain restaurants typically do. I appreciated that gesture, as it always frustrates me when they assume I want a refill without checking first. Not long after, the waitress brought out my fries and the refill of lemonade. The fries were delicious, and the lemonade was just as refreshing. After finishing my meal, I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied with my experience. I rated this place five stars because it truly offers the best service I've experienced at a major chain restaurant.

Felicia was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was also excellent. My husband, being a veteran, received his meal for free!
